106.1 WNGC and 960 The Ref are proud to host the 4th Annual esp Radiothon, a live, two-day fundraising broadcast in support of Extra Special People, Inc. (esp). Scheduled for 28th and 29th August, the event aims to bring the community together to raise funds for programmes that empower people of all abilities and their families.
The Radiothon is presented this year by Akins Ford of Winder, Mission Construction, Roofing and Exteriors, and Bobcat of Athens & Shoemaker Equipment, whose contributions play a vital role in making the event possible.
Throughout the broadcast, listeners will be inspired by personal stories from esp participants, families, and staff. Donations can be made easily by phone, online, or in person, with every pound raised going directly towards supporting esp’s camps, year-round programmes, and inclusive events designed to create life-changing experiences for children and young adults of all abilities.
“Each year, the ESP Radiothon reminds us of the power of community,” said Brittney Kenimer, Promotions Director at Cox Media Group. “We are honoured to partner with esp and our incredible sponsors to make a difference in the lives of these amazing individuals and their families.”
Listeners can tune in to the 4th Annual esp Radiothon on 106.1 WNGC and 960 The Ref from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on both days. Donations are welcome throughout the event or at any time by texting esp to 44321 or by calling the Bobcat of Athens & Shoemaker Equipment Hooray Hotline.
