bmi Announce Flight Giveway to Celebrate 5-Year Anniversary

Airline bmi has announced that, in order to celebrate being an independent company for 5 years, they will be rewarding their loyal customers. The company first went independent in 2012 and in celebration of this milestone will be giving away 2,012 flights.

Starting today, on the 29th November, the airline will be giving away these flights across their pan-European routes. Lucky customers will only have to pay for taxes on these flights. The giveaway will include a variety of different routes and dates, and the tax-only fares will mean that travelers will be able to fly to a range of different destinations across the UK and Europe for low prices.

In order to be in with a chance at winning these flights, customers need to be quick, as the tax-only flights are available on a first come, first serve basis. The Chief Commercial Officer of bmi, Jochen Schnadt has said that they company have been doing a lot this year in order to mark their 5th anniversary as an independent. Part of these celebrations is giving back, and the airline wanted to offer something to their customers, the very people who have allowed bmi to remain a successful airline. Not only has bmi been able to remain a successful business during these five years, but has also managed to develop and grow over this period. Their customers’ support has been vital for this growth and have helped the company to get to where they are today.

Once the special celebratory flights have been booked, the customers will be able to enjoy bmi’s quality and professional customer service, the option of being able to travel with 23kg of hold luggage, comfortable leather seats in a 2:1 configuration as well as complimentary inflight drinks and snacks. The anniversary tickets are one way and must be booked by the 8th December.

Cameron House Supports Friends of Our Park Scheme

The five-star, Scottish resort Cameron House can be found in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The retreat has revealed that they are committed to helping to conserve and enhance the local area for everyone to enjoy. As a part of this commitment, the resort will be joining the newly created Friends of Our Park sustainability scheme.

The resort has signed up to this scheme in order to help to raise funds from guests in order to directly support a range of priority projects that have been planned for the Loch Lomond area of the national park. These projects include raising money to help to protect the wildlife, including native red squirrels, as well as investing in to the improvement of footpaths.

The resort, located on the banks of Loch Lomond, Scotland’s first national park, Cameron House is offering a voluntary visitor giving scheme of £1 per stay. This scheme will be launched on the 30th November. Andy Roger, the Cameron House Resort Director has said that they are really privileged to be located in this national park, on the border of the lowlands and the highlands in Scotland. The resort is in a magical and unique setting and the stunning views and landscape surrounding the resort add to the special experience offered to guests by Cameron House. As guests love and appreciate its surroundings, no doubt they will be proud to support Cameron House in their work to protect the area.

The involvement of the resort will provide a major boost to the Friends of Our Park visitor giving scheme, and a number of projects that have already been aimed at protecting and improving the features that make Loch Lomond so special. Winterville Open in Clapham Common

The alternative festive experience in London has arrived for this year’s winter season. Winterville is now up and running and will be open until the 1st January. The festival features Street Feast, Backyard Cinema, Plonk Golf, the first ever ice rink to be created in Clapham, a Twistee Wheels Roller Disco and the Wasted Chic Christmas Market.

The pop up event is now open in Clapham Common and will be open to visit up until the 1st January. On offer will be entertainment for all ages as well as opportunities to Christmas shop from the alternative Christmas market. There will be sensational food on offer at Street Feast as well as an opportunity to watch screenings of the Christmas classics as a part of Backyard Cinema’s Winter Night Garden. The Street Feast are will include some of the best street food traders operating in London such as Up In My Grill, Mother Clucker, Petare and SE Cakery plus many more.

Visitors to Winterville will also be able to play crazy golf on the UV-powered Plonk Golf course while also having a chance to ride on the Big Wheel. The Spiegeltent open in Clapham common will also have on offer a range of free entertainment including a weekend set from Norman Jay MBE as well as free shows for Guilty Pleasures, Ultimate Power, South London Soul Train and much more.

There will also be ticketed shows on offer at Winterville including the Cirque du Cabaret and Mexican Wrestling. On Sunday nights Clapham Common will see Sink The Pink Presents The Merry Marys. There will be The Twisted Wheels Roller Disco whi9ch will include nights from 2 Bears, Erol Alkan’s Disco 3000 and Stevie Wonderland as well as a range of other throwback events.
