With winter on the horizon, Dakota Leeds’ Executive Head Chef, Craig Rogan, has refined and relaunched the Sunday lunch offering at The Grill which was already one of the best in the city.
Dakota is offering beautifully cooked classics using the best fresh and seasonal produce. Mouth-watering dishes include; slow roasted sirloin of beef, tender roast leg of lamb and succulent butter roasted chicken, while vegetarians can opt for a traditional nut roast with onion gravy, all served with Sunday favourites including roasted root vegetables, goose fat potatoes and Yorkshire pudding.
Sunday roast alternatives include, grilled cod with baby leek & bone marrow butter, as well as ox cheek with Lincolnshire poacher & wild mushroom tagliatelle. A range of accompanying side dishes are also on offer such as herb buttered new potatoes, brassicas & pancetta and cauliflower gratin.
To tantalise taste buds to begin with, starters include; risotto of Whitby crab, cauliflower soup with Wensleydale & onion toast, and confit chicken leg croquette with mustard leaf mayonnaise and those with a sweet tooth will be delighted with the selection of delectable desserts to choose from including; apple pie with spiced ice cream, white chocolate pannacotta with red berries, and vanilla rice pudding with plum compote.
The Set Sunday Menu is served every Sunday 12:30-17:00 and offers 2 courses for £20 or 3 courses for £25.
