Tanner Campbell has confirmed that he has regained full ownership of Practical Stoicism, including all associated intellectual property, following a successful reacquisition completed on 31 December 2025.
The move returns full creative and operational authority over the Practical Stoicism podcast and its broader brand to Campbell. During a previous period, the property was operated under external ownership by Front Porch Media in Ohio, USA. The reacquisition marks an important step in the podcast’s evolution as an independent philosophy and education platform with a global audience.
“This is an important milestone for the work,” said Tanner Campbell. “Practical Stoicism is built on a clear mission: to make Stoic philosophy accessible, practical, and useful in everyday life. Regaining full ownership ensures that the future of the project is guided entirely by that mission.”
With listeners in 175 countries, Practical Stoicism has established itself as a leading resource for those interested in applying Stoic philosophy to modern life. Since its inception, the podcast has focused on translating classical Stoic ideas into practical guidance, addressing themes such as ethical decision-making, emotional discipline, rational thought, personal responsibility and the cultivation of character.
Campbell’s approach treats Stoicism as a serious philosophical discipline grounded in historical tradition and lived practice. The podcast has earned recognition for balancing scholarly integrity with contemporary relevance, speaking directly to the challenges faced by professionals, families, students and lifelong learners. Each episode centres on practical implementation, using clear language and structured reasoning to support behavioural change.
Now operating once again under full independent ownership, Campbell plans to further develop the Practical Stoicism platform across multiple formats, including audio, written content and digital resources. The change enables greater consistency across editorial direction, audience engagement, partnerships and product development, while reinforcing direct support from listeners.
Looking ahead, Campbell has confirmed that upcoming work will continue to prioritise dependable publishing standards and accessible Stoic education. Further details on forthcoming episodes and new projects will be announced in the coming weeks as Practical Stoicism enters its next phase as an independently owned brand.
