Chinese fasting retreat provider Fast Reset UK has announced a new retreat structure for 2026, offering a flexible option for those looking to improve their health and wellbeing at the start of the year.
Founded by Chloe Mould, Fast Reset UK is built around the ancient Chinese fasting technique Bigu. Retreats take place at Chloe’s home in Chislehurst, South East London, where the established seven-day residential programme has gained a reputation for delivering a complete reset of both body and mind. Participants commonly report better sleep, clearer skin, increased energy, weight loss, enhanced immunity and fewer cravings.
The benefits of extended fasting are increasingly supported by scientific research. In 2016, Japanese cell biologist Mr Yoshinori Ohsumi was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his work on autophagy. His findings showed that seven days are required to trigger the body’s natural repair processes, allowing it to regenerate and recover through fasting.
For 2026, Fast Reset UK is launching a hybrid retreat option. Guests will spend the first three days at the retreat before completing the final four days at home, supported by daily online sessions with Chloe. This model provides structure, education and ongoing guidance while allowing participants to continue the programme remotely.
“Fasting is the best way to keep your health; all the problems, the issues can be addressed. We encourage your body to heal itself,” said Chloe. “With this new service, you can arrive on a Friday, stay three days, and I teach you. Even when you go, you will be part of the online group and guided through the remaining four days.”
Chloe’s passion for fasting stems from her own personal transformation, having lost close to 9kg during her first fasting retreat. That experience led her to champion fasting as a powerful tool for long-term health and to support others on their own wellness journeys.
