Tesco free pumpkins are available at selected UK stores as part of a limited Halloween giveaway running from 22 to 31 October 2026.
The supermarket is offering pre-carved pumpkins at 10 locations, with each store hosting the giveaway for one afternoon only. Customers do not need to make an in-store purchase, but availability is limited and pumpkins are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
When can shoppers collect Tesco free pumpkins?
According to Tesco’s official Halloween announcement, collection runs from 3pm to 5pm at participating stores.
The exception is Nottingham Top Valley Extra on Sunday 25 October, where the collection window is 2pm to 4pm.
The promotion is not available at every Tesco branch, so shoppers should check the location and date before travelling.
Which stores are taking part?
The announced schedule is below. The Risca and Cheltenham events took place on 22 and 23 October respectively.
| Date | Participating Tesco store |
|---|---|
| Saturday 24 October | New Oscott Extra |
| Sunday 25 October | Nottingham Top Valley Extra |
| Monday 26 October | Sheffield Extra |
| Tuesday 27 October | Stockport Extra |
| Wednesday 28 October | York Tadcaster Road Extra |
| Thursday 29 October | Middlesbrough Coulby Newham |
| Friday 30 October | Newcastle Upon Tyne Extra |
| Saturday 31 October | Edinburgh Corstorphine Extra |
What designs are available?
Shoppers can choose between a traditional jack-o’-lantern and an eclipse-inspired design.
Tesco is also providing a downloadable Eclipse stencil for people who prefer to carve their own pumpkin.
What should customers check before visiting?
Check that your chosen branch is participating on the day you plan to visit. These are individual afternoon events rather than a giveaway running continuously at every listed store.
The advertised collection window does not guarantee stock will remain available throughout. Customers should also distinguish the free pre-carved promotion from pumpkins being sold normally in stores.
