Hull’s newest dining hotspot, One Steakhouse & Lounge, has officially opened to the public, following a private launch event on 1st November.
Located by North Bridge, this iconic building has been a part of Hull’s landscape for nearly a century. After standing empty for the past ten years, it has been completely redesigned into a stylish 200-seat steakhouse and rooftop cocktail bar.
Edison Motina, co-owner of One Steakhouse & Lounge, shared his delight with the project, stating: “I’m incredibly happy with how the space has come together. It’s a magnificent building, and I’m glad people are able to make memories here again.”
The restaurant’s menu showcases Yorkshire’s finest ingredients, blended with classic Mediterranean tastes. The highlight is a selection of premium 32-day dry-aged steaks, all cooked to order, alongside fresh seafood and flavourful vegetarian options.
The venue has enjoyed a strong first week, with early guests providing positive reviews and enthusiastic feedback.
Edison added: “I’m so proud of the team for creating such an amazing opening night for our first visitors. We are excited to welcome even more of Hull to experience One Steakhouse & Lounge in the coming weeks.”
Located at 1 Witham, One Steakhouse & Lounge is open seven days a week, with table reservations available on their website. Parking is conveniently located across the street, costing £2 for the day (free after 6pm), which is refunded from the customer’s bill.
The restaurant is now taking bookings for the Christmas period, offering a festive dining experience for gatherings and groups.
