If you needed another excuse to enjoy pizza season, Zizzi has just delivered it. After an extensive refurbishment, Zizzi Bromley reopened its doors on Tuesday 30th September, unveiling a bold new look inspired by both Tuscany and Bromley’s own rich history – and to celebrate, the restaurant is giving away 1,000 free pizzas.
The Italian chain has always been known for combining good food with playful design, but the updated Bromley restaurant takes things to the next level. The new interiors blend Zizzi’s Tuscan heritage with nods to Bromley’s past as a medieval market town, with striking details and original artwork creating a vibrant, welcoming space for diners.
A Feast for the Eyes
At the heart of the redesign is a mural by local artist Ola Intu, who has woven together imagery of Tuscany’s rolling hills, the golden hues of broom plants, dried flowers and Italian motifs with a distinctly Bromley twist. The restaurant seats 130 guests, and its makeover also includes a dramatic dried flower ceiling installation, an eye-catching neon sign, decorative feature walls adorned with plates and picture frames, and a smart new frontage.
General Manager Georgiana says the transformation has given the restaurant a new energy:
“We’re so excited to end the summer season with a fresh new look and welcome back our community through the doors. The space feels bright and colourful and with the opportunity for 1,000 free pizzas up for grabs, it’s the perfect time to pop in and see what’s new and changed! Guests can also expect to see a new menu coming very soon, which we’re very excited about.”
Free Pizza, No Strings Attached
As part of the reopening celebrations, Zizzi is giving away 1,000 pizzas between 30th September and 17th October. The offer is available Monday to Friday from 12pm–2pm, and all diners need to do is book a table in advance via the Zizzi website.
It’s a no-catch offer – simply great pizza, on the house, while stocks last.
What’s New on the Menu
While Zizzi fans can still expect their favourites, the refreshed Bromley site is also showcasing a few new additions. Highlights include the Diavoletta Bombe – a fiery twist on Zizzi’s iconic garlic bombe, filled with gooey mozzarella, Roquito chillies and a rich Alla Vodka sauce – and the indulgent King Prawn Vongole, a fresh Mafaldine pasta dish served with king prawns, clams, wild garlic, lemon, capers and parsley butter.
Dessert-lovers are equally well catered for, with the Dragon Fruit & Wild Strawberry Sundae (a vibrant mix of dragon fruit sorbet, panna cotta, wild strawberry gelato and pink meringue) and the decadent Caramello Sundae, which layers salted caramel and vanilla gelato with honeycomb cheesecake, caramel sauce and a stroopwafel.
When to Visit
Zizzi Bromley is open daily from 11:30am to 10:00pm, with extended hours until 11:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
