The UK’s favourite group of Spanish restaurants, Tapas Revolution, turns 10 year’s old this October and is inviting customers to celebrate ‘The Best of 10!’ with them. That’s 10 years of operating the largest chain of Spanish tapas bars and restaurants, celebrating their top-selling tapas dishes, all showcased in a special menu from just £10.
Tapas Revolution burst onto the UK food scene back in October 2010, with their first restaurant in Westfield London gaining huge attention and applause from some of the UK’s best-known food critics, including Tom Parker-Bowles of The Mail and John Lancaster of The Guardian.
A passionate crusader promoting Spanish food to a UK audience, Omar Allibhoy, dubbed the ‘Antonio Banderas of cooking’ by Gordon Ramsey, has since gone on to open and operate a further seven successful tapas bars and restaurants across the UK. He has also become the nation’s favourite go-to Spanish chef, with regular appearances on mainstream cookery programmes such as Sunday Brunch, This Morning and The One Show.
Inspired by the bustling, well-heeled bars and restaurants of Omar’s hometown of Madrid, Tapas Revolution aims to transport customers to the streets of Spain, with an authentic and nostalgic food and drinks menu that includes a range of well-loved traditional tapas presented alongside a selection of Omar’s critically acclaimed signature dishes. Tapas Revolution’s ‘Best of 10!’ menu launches on October 10, 2020 and runs until the end of the month, Monday to Friday all day. Priced from just £10, it includes some of Spain’s most popular classics such as ‘patatas bravas’, ‘croquetas de jamon’, ‘albondigas’ and ‘tortilla’. The menu also includes a number of Omar’s signature dishes as upgrades such as Bacalao Con Piperrada Y Olivas (Pan-roasted loin of cod served on a bed of slow-cooked red peppers topped with a green olive salsa verde) and Codillo Con Piquillos Y Salsa Verde (Iberian pork shank slow roasted over 12 hours with roasted piquillo peppers and a salsa verde).
