    Cooking salmon in a toaster oven might seem unconventional, but it’s a simple and effective method to prepare a delicious meal.     • A tablespoon of chopped fresh herbs

    Applying Marinade: Coat the salmon evenly and let it sit for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. This allows the flavours to penetrate the fish.

    Setting the Temperature: Preheat the toaster oven to the appropriate temperature. For baking, 180°C (350°F) is commonly recommended. For broiling, use the highest temperature setting.

    Placement: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the lined baking sheet. This helps to retain moisture and achieve a nice, crispy skin.

    Cooking Time: Salmon generally takes about 10-15 minutes to cook in a toaster oven. Check for doneness by ensuring the salmon flakes easily with a fork and looks opaque throughout.

    Consider serving the salmon with a fresh salad to create a balanced meal. For a touch of zest, include a sprinkle of black pepper and a drizzle of lemon juice. Store any leftover cooked salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator, ensuring its freshness for up to three days.
